when the US dollar is getting stronger, does it mean the economy is growing ?
Perhaps a country that is not under Zionist occupation? A nation that has a strong currency and a strong economy? A nation that is not being used by Israel to do its dirty work in the Middle East? If so, where?
In a world without government, there is no rule of law, and no protection of property rights. Bullies and strong people can steal the assets of weaker persons with impunity. There is little incentive to save and invest because the threat of expropriation is real and constant.
Governments provide protection against bullies and can build road and rail infrastructure to promote trade. In times of war government organization allows a country to fight and still arrange for essential industries to continue. Meanwhile too much government stifles the spirit of enterprise and lowers the rate of economic growth, as was seen under the old Soviet system. Western Europe has started to return from recession with a strong currency despite having mostly socialist governments. The US economy is still suffering from the aftermath of the greed of Wall Street and bankers from massive mortgage defaulting and a huge balance of payments deficit with China.
So how do you decide how much is enough government and how much is too much?
I’m not very familiar with economics, but how is the strength of the currency related to the strength of the economy/stock markets?
Is there some place where I can learn about why currency decreases/increases in value? and the pros and cons of having a weak/strong currency?
Also why is it that the dollar is becoming stronger than the euro?
Thanks for all the answers, I’m here to learn so no immature responses please.
What makes a currency stronger or weaker. If the a central bank raises the interest rate, the currency should be stronger? What are other factors in determining the value of a currency? Does GDP play a role?
Lastly, why is the dollar strengthening in the last several months versus other currencies? The US is economy is performing poorly. Does it mean that other countries are just performing worse than the US’s economy?
So I’ve been reading some articles and I’d like to know why our economy is looking so weak. I understand that we have around a 10 trillion dollar debt in the form of bonds given to countries like China to fund the war. Can someone add a little more detail however, on how all the economic "processes" work, such as a weakening dollar. What exactly is inflation and how does it happen. Will our economy ever rebound to be as strong as it was before? And will the dollar be one of the strongest currencies again?
How can the currency exchange rates be calculated? and on which parameters does it depend?
For example, Kwaiti Dinar has the highest currency value (1 Kuwaiti Dinar = 3.79176 U.S. Dollars), does that mean Kwait’s economy is stronger than the U.S.? or the exchange rates are measured upon factors other than economy?!

Arguably the backbone of a strong America is freedom and a strong economy (which is held up by the strength of our currency). Now I’m not too sure what’s happening now but do you think the dollar will be overtaken and we have to worry about switching our money to something help on foreign soil like the Euro?
